NFR

On Monday we took off to Vegas with a couple of our good friends Gary & Jamie to go to the National Finals Rodeo!! It was the first time we had left Taylee overnight, so needless to say, Josh had to call my mom all night to see how his baby girl was doing haha. But it was such a great night!! The rodeo was so much fun!! Its always fun to be somewhere you've seen on TV year after year and fun to watch the cowboys and cowgirls you've heard about year after year... Trevor Brazile, Cody Ohl, Fred Whitfield, J.W. Harris... There were also quite a few cowboys from Utah in each event. Anyhow, after the rodeo we went back to the MGM and were playing slots and I had done horrible all night long, had not won anything... so I was tryin to waste the last of my husband's $10 so we could go up to bed and won $120!! Yay me!! It was by far one of the best Monday's ever!! Can't wait for next year!! I'll post a couple pictures, but they are not great since, I totally forgot to bring my camera, so I had to use Josh's phone for the pictures....

Redecorate

Well I redecorated the blog for Christmas. But not much to say, so I'll post more later :)

Halloween

We had a good Halloween this year. Taylee was a devil and Colby was the "Halloween Horror" We got a kick out of Colby because he would tell everyone he was going to be the "Halloween Horror" however he was not to great at emphasizing Horr-or, so it would always sound like the "Halloween Whore" haha. And Taylee was a true devil since she would not take a nap ALL DAY long so needless to say, by 6 o' clock she was a bit grouchy. So we went with Colby to trunk or treat a little and then he went off with his friend Makayla and we took Taylee home. Hopefully next year will be a little more fun for her. But all in all it was a good weekend.

9 months

Yes, this post is a little late... I like to play the try and catch up game on my blog haha. Well 9 months has came and went and Taylee is now almost 10 months. She has 4 teeth and is now working on #5. She is such a happy girl most of the time and she has finally decided that other people besides her mom are okay. She loves to eat EVERYTHING, you put it in front of her, she will eat it. She is also very, very mobile... she is unstoppable haha. Love my baby girl

Ekker Ranch

A couple weekends ago we went up to Josh's grandpa's ranch out by Delta. We went with Josh's mom & dad, his brother, and nephew Jayden. We camped out there for 3 days, had some great dutchoven dinner and some great 4-wheeler rides. This was Taylee's first real campin trip... It was fun but she was a little stressful at times hahaha.

8 Months

With all the great flowers my mom has in bloom at her house in Boulder right now we had to do Taylee's 8 month pictures while we were there!!

She is so much fun at 8 months. She is crawling all over the place and loves to keep us on our toes by going right for the cords plugged into the wall UGH! She also just learned to play Patti-cake and while we were in Boulder figured out how to wave "Hi" and in a little breathy voice says something that sounds like Hi lol... She is learning all sorts of great things to keep us on our toes and keep us laughing.

Boulder Trip

We decided to go to Boulder to see my mom and dad for the weekend. So we left after school on Friday and came home Monday. Geoff and Danelle came over Sunday. We had a great time, Josh saw some huge elk down on the Burr Trail, while out coyote huntin. He finally convinced me to get up at 5 am and go with him the next day, we didn't see the elk though but had a great time being kidless for a few hours. We also went up fishing at the power plant Sunday evening. Everyone caught a few fish. It was a great weekend! The weather was SO nice up there, I hated to have to come home, but with both Colby and Josh in school and Josh and I working we couldn't manage to pull off another couple of days. Here are a few pictures of the weekend.

Drumsticks

So the other night we were all eating Drumsticks and Taylee couldn't stop looking at them and trying to grab them, so I let her have a little taste.... Bad idea, we have an addict on our hands now lol...

New House

Also for all of those who didn't know we just purchased our first house!! It is on the outskirts of Hurricane (between Hurricane and Washington). Colby loved the neighborhood when we came to look at the house because there were tons of boys running around. So we decided to go for it!! We have had to do a little work to make it start looking like a home and have a few projects for the future, but we love it!!

7 MoNtHs

My baby is also 7 months old today!! It has FlOwN by!!!!
Some things about Taylee at 7 months:
*She LOVES her big brother and laughs at everything he does.
*She is getting her first tooth
*She loves to go outside in the evenings
*She loves watching the dogs and grabbing Molly's nose lol
*She sleeps through the whole night in her own bed (in our room) but in her own bed lol
*She has the sweetest smile and the most beautiful blue eyes (she's got her dad wrapped around her finger)

First Day of School

Back to school!! Colby is starting 2nd grade at Coral Canyon Elementary. His teacher is Mr. Lowe. He is so excited to go back (although he says the summer was shorter than last summer). I am excited for him to go back too but I am going to miss my helper!! He is so much help with his baby sister!! But I will also enjoy getting to sleep the days after I work without having to entertain 2 kids!!

Giving in...

I guess I'm going to follow the crowd and start a blog of my own instead of just blog stalking!! Hahaha I hope our family is exciting enough!!
