Big 28

That right, I'm getting OLD... a whopping 28 to be exact. I had a very uneventful birthday (but heck when you get old those are usually the best haha!!) I worked the night before my birthday, so my day basically consisted of coming home and sleeping until my sweet girl decided it was time to get up. Then we played and laid around for the rest of the day. I didn't even do my hair or make up haha. Josh and the kiddos also sent me an awesome flower bouquet (probably one of my favorite ones ever!). Then Josh's mom, dad, sister Tonya, and brother Chad came down from Cedar that evening and we had sandwiches and cake and opened presents. All in all it was a nice day. And we are planning the big birthday celebration for next week when we get to go to Salt Lake and celebrate my birthday, my moms, and my brothers at THE CHEESECAKE FACTORY!! YAY!!

Boulder

We also got to spend the first part of Spring Break week over in Boulder. We couldn't have asked for a better trip! The weather was gorgeous and we had a lot of fun!! We went down and hiked Wolverine and looked at all the neat petrified wood and then had a picnic at the trucks soaking up the beautiful day. We spent every afternoon outside sitting in the sun while the kiddos played in the rocks and dirt. Both of them love to be outside playing. We got to stay for 3 days and then had to come home and get back to work, but it was a great weekend!!

Soccer

Sorry I have gotten so behind on my posts lately... so we will start with soccer. I am officially a soccer mom. Colby started soccer this spring and did really well for his first game (although I always thought we were more of a baseball family, we may have to learn to love soccer!) He played goalie for a little while in his first game and then a forward for the rest. And his team won 2-0 so he was thrilled! Its been so nice to get out and enjoy this spring weather and watch a little soccer!!
